Distinctive by Design
Dry Gin is the latest addition to our growing stable of spirits. It’s something we’ve wanted to offer for a long time, but we didn’t want to rush it. It had to be just right, and now our patience has paid off.
Starting on Saturday, the Willow Creek Dry Gin will be available for tasting and purchase at the distillery tasting room, as well as at our online spirits shop.
The Willow Creek Dry Gin begins with a neutral spirit distilled from grapes grown by our sister winery, Opolo Vineyards. The neutral spirit is infused with a proprietary blend of locally sourced premium natural botanicals including juniper, coriander, cardamom, lemon peel, cucumber, peppercorn and angelica root. After botanical infusion, a second distillation pulls all of the aromas and flavors into the final spirit. The result is a uniquely complex and clean-drinking gin for a new generation, loaded with juniper-driven aromas and flush with multidimensional flavor. True to the dry gin style, it has no added sweeteners.
In the words of Head Distiller Kevin Coulton, “Our aim was to honor the traditions of classic dry gin while putting our own distinct mark on the style, ultimately creating a gin that stands out from the crowd. We wanted something really clean with a vivid pop of juniper and a beautiful nose that evokes natural forest botanicals. This gin is very flavorful and easy to drink.”
